What we collect

Email address, display name (no real name required), age band, progress through lessons, Sage conversation transcripts, and submission artifacts. That is it. No location tracking, no device fingerprinting, no third-party trackers.

Data minimization for minors

Accounts for learners under 18 have data_minimization_mode enabled at the database level. This strips email addresses from any view a teacher could access. Teachers see display names only.

How we use your data

To deliver lessons, personalize Sage conversations, track progress, issue certificates, and communicate about your account. We never sell your data. We never train models on your data.

Data export and deletion

You can request a full export of your data at any time via your dashboard or by contacting shruti@fairshift.co. Parents can export and delete their child's data from the parent dashboard. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Third-party services

We use Supabase (database, Mumbai region), Anthropic/OpenAI/Google (AI models — no training on your data), Stripe (payments — PCI compliant), and Accredible (certificate issuance).
